So grad school takes a lot of time. There is still much mixing to complete. Each weekend that I have free time, there is new hurdle that I don't jump over (no power from a hurricane, Italian cousin visit, feverish sickness, etc.) So, realistically this album won't be done very soon. But if I give myself a deadline, it will pressure me to get it done. Oh, but it is a generous deadline.
I will now announce (pretending I'm a successful musician) that the final mix of Deep Into The Blue will be released Christmas 2011.
It will of course be a free download, but for those who care more and/or have money can offer some type of donation. Those who donate like at least three dollars or something, will get a physical copy in the mail, as well as a bonus disc of acoustic versions of some of the songs, as well as the 5 minute mini-documentary of the making of the album. If you're family or helped work on the album, you get this stuff for free.
